I am an artist, a photographer, a writer, professor, philosopher, and author. Being an artist is not a profession, it is not a lifestyle, Let me try to explain. When another person, looks at something, say a chandelier, he sees a light, thinks about how much it probably cost and that it is huge ,then walks on to his destination. I walk in, see the same chandelier, but I see magic. I can take my camera, or a pencil, or whatever, and will, in whatever environment, immediately go about trying to capture what I see. I see myriads of colors, flashing off the edges of each prism, bouncing back and forth between each little carved cut out on the beveled drop. I see blues, greens, purples, oranges, pinks, purples, every single color of the rainbow, right there hanging from the ceiling right in front of my eyes. Everyone else, glances at it, and walks on by, without another glance. Not me. Someone will have to come and drag me away or I will be there until I am satisfied that I have truly captured on film or paper, what it is that I see.


The name of this website came from that cousin I spoke about above. When I have my camera out, or am drawing and he sees, he simply shakes his head and says, Only 'Through Lynne's Eyes" will you see what she can see, thus the website name and link: http:/​/​www.​thrulenseyes.​com
